We’re thrilled to share some exciting news!
In a heart-warming display of generosity, NRB Accountants have upped their patronage from bronze to silver, and we can’t thank them enough for their remarkable commitment! They’ve embarked on a partnership with our employability programs at Wigan and Leigh, bringing the transformative power of strength-based coaching, expertly delivered by True North Development.
This incredible opportunity has thrown open new horizons for the young adults participating in our programs. They’ve had the chance to undergo an online assessment, a personalized journey that unveils their strengths and connects them with one-on-one coaching sessions.
Picture this: a unique opportunity to engage with a true expert who understands the influence of strengths and how to harness them for personal growth and goal achievement. It’s a game-changer!
But let’s not just take our word for it. Here’s what some of the young people themselves had to say:
“It went really well, and I’ve been able to use my strengths to talk about myself for longer during interviews and meetings where I need to. I have also been able to talk about myself using my results in my current voluntary job where I work with adults with disabilities so they can get to know me better.” – Max
“The session itself was great; I felt really comfortable talking to Pete. The way they had organised it for the coach to share top traits with the person participating in the session was really handy as you feel like you can relate to your coach in certain ways, and this works both ways so that the coach can offer more meaningful advice due to shared experiences etc.
The session made me realise so many things about myself, and since then, I have been working a lot more to my strengths. it’s been interesting seeing how much more efficient I am when I put different strengths of mine to the front and use them in my job and college. It’s also led to my anxiety calming down a lot as I know how to control certain traits that may have caused that, thanks to advice I had received during the session. All in all, I really enjoyed the session, and the advice given was very eye-opening and helpful.” – Scye
“I found the session helpful; my top 5 strengths really sounded like me, and this has given me more confidence with the stuff I’m good at. I find this useful for interview questions because I can now base my answers around my key strengths and what I can offer.” – Brandon
